The Ather 450 Apex now has a new feature called Infinity Cruise. This makes it the first electric scooter in India to come with three different cruise control modes.
The Ather 450 Apex electric scooter just got smarter with a new feature called Infinity Cruise. This update was revealed at the Ather Community Day 2025 in Bengaluru. All new 2025 Ather 450 Apex scooters will now come with this feature. If you already own one, don’t worry—you’ll get it through a free software update that downloads to your scooter.
What is Infinity Cruise?
Infinity Cruise is Ather’s own special cruise control system, made for Indian roads. It has three different modes to make your ride easier: City Cruise, Hill Cruise, and Crawl Control.
- City Cruise keeps your speed steady on city roads and highways up to 90 km/h. It won’t switch off if you brake or change your speed—it just smoothly adjusts to your new pace.
- Hill Cruise easily handles slopes. It gives the right amount of power to go uphill and uses the bike’s regenerative braking to hold your speed on the way down, so you don’t have to use the brakes.
- Crawl Control is for when you’re in heavy traffic or on bumpy roads. It keeps the scooter moving at a slow and steady 10 km/h so you can focus on steering. It also has Multimode Traction Control for better grip on wet or slippery roads.
Battery, Range & Performance
The 2025 Ather 450 Apex has no mechanical changes. It still has the same 3.7kWh battery, giving you a claimed range of 157km on a single charge. Its powerful 7kW motor delivers 9.39bhp and 26Nm of torque. The scooter has five riding modes, including the super-fast Wrap+ mode, and can go from 0 to 40km/h in just 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 100kmph.
Other Features
The 2025 Ather 450 Apex keeps its simple, modern look. It comes with a 7-inch TFT screen with Google Maps, a large 34-litre underseat storage space, and a 22-litre front storage area.
