Inspired by the 2024 Vision Neue Klasse X concept, the iX3 becomes the first production model in BMW’s Neue Klasse electric range.
The new BMW iX3 uses a 108.7kWh (net) battery and can cover up to 372km of range in just 10 minutes via 400kW DC fast charging.
On the WLTP cycle, the Neue Klasse BMW iX3 delivers a range of 679km to 805km.
BMW gives the iX3 an upright front with vertical kidney grilles that echo the Neue Klasse cars of the 1960s, complemented by slim, newly styled headlights.
The back end is defined by wide tail-lights—separate units with a contemporary twist on BMW’s classic L-shaped design.
Inside, the BMW iX3 features a clean, minimalist cabin with seating for up to 5.
Drivers benefit from physical buttons for core functions, alongside a centrally mounted 17.9-inch display operating on BMW’s OS X.
