TVS Apache Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Special Editions and New Top-Spec Variants
TVS Motor Co. is commemorating the 20th anniversary of its Apache motorcycle range with the launch of new limited-edition variants across the entire lineup. Additionally, the RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V now feature new top-spec variants that introduce significant feature upgrades.
New Top-Spec RTR 160 4V and 200 4V Variants
The most notable update is the introduction of a new, top-end variant for both the RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V. These new models sit above the previous top-spec variants (which featured USD forks and an LCD display) and add a range of premium features.
Key Upgrades:
- A new projector headlamp with LED DRLs for improved visibility.
- A 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and voice assist.
- The addition of traction control for enhanced safety.
These new variants also come in fresh color options:
- RTR 160 4V: Racing Red, Marine Blue, and Matte Black
- RTR 200 4V: Matte Black and Granite Grey
The new top-spec RTR 160 4V is priced at Rs 1.48 lakh, while the equivalent RTR 200 4V costs Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes the new RTR 160 4V Rs 8,000 more and the new RTR 200 4V Rs 6,000 more than their respective previous top-spec models.
Limited-Edition 20th Anniversary Models
The special 20th Anniversary Edition bikes are available across the entire Apache portfolio and come with unique cosmetic changes. They feature a primary black color scheme with elegant metallic rose-gold highlights on the bodywork and wheels. The RTR 310 and RR 310 are the exceptions, receiving all-black alloys. All anniversary edition bikes also include a USB charger.
Mechanically, these limited-edition models remain unchanged. The anniversary editions are priced at a premium of Rs 3,000 over the standard models.
